還有一種說法似乎更靠譜一些，來源于《夢華瑣簿》中所述：清代徽調(diào)演員米喜子在演《戰(zhàn)長沙》時，出場用袖子遮臉，眼神微瞇。演至精彩處，驀地睜大雙眼，一副殺氣凜然的樣子。當(dāng)時臺下觀眾為之喝彩，都說真像是關(guān)公顯靈了。所以說，閉眼可以說是一種蓄勢待發(fā)的神情，在戲臺上，也有“一身之戲聚于臉，一臉之戲聚于眼” 一說。
